Contig is a very powerful defragmentation application designed for Windows NT/2000/XP operating systems.
Contig
Contig is a single-file defragmenter that attempts to make files contiguous on disk. Its perfect for quickly optimizing files that are continuously becoming fragmented, or that you want to ensure are in as few fragments as possible.
How to use
Power Defragmenter is a front end GUI for Contig to defragment individual files, folders, or continuously defragment all files to clean up the whole hard disk. It is a straightforward stand alone program (no need to install) that can be ran with just a few clicks. It supports Windows 2000 and later versions of Windows (XP, 2003, Media Center 2005, Vista)
You may download the program here. The zip file contains both Power Defragmenter and Contig.
Extract all the contents of the zip file into a single folder and run “Power Gefragmenter GUI.exe”
Choose your defragmentation mode:
If you choose to defragment a drive, specify the drive letter
